DeLuna Cable Connections

Hello,

Just bought a new veranda in DeLuna. The low voltage box in the garage has two Cat6 cables coming into the house and a then bundles of coax and Cat6 cables distributing through the house.

I was expecting to see a coax cable coming into the box from the street. Does anyone know if Comcast has to run a coax into the house?

Thanks

Cable

In Citrus Grove both Comcast and Sperctrum run coax to the box in the garage, and depending on which one you chose, they hook it up to power up the coax connection on the wall plates in the rooms.

Thanks.

My point is there are no coax cables coming from the street.

I thought the same thing, you should have 2 coax cables coming in from the bottom (one of mine was orange) those are from the street. All other cables go up to the attic and throughout the house.

Yes, no coax coming in from the bottom. I'm surprised if cable company has to route these from an outdoor box.

Orange coax is called "direct burial" coax and usually run to the main junction box a couple homes in our older area away to the demarc (box) where it comes into to the home either inside or outside.. They just reran our drop because some doofus split it with a shovel digging in a neighbor's yard. It is barely buried below the grass line.
