Coyote

I could have sworn that I just saw a coyote on Palmer's Cherry Hill course hole # 2. Is this possible?

Yes, we saw one on Mallory's Amelia a few months ago.

On the local news Monday night they showed a coyote running down State Street in Chicago at 2:00AM.

As their habitat disappears they are being spotted more and more in populated areas.

I was dog sitting for a neighbor and I am a "hoot owl"--took the dog out around 2:00 am----he "bristled up" looking down the street----(we live in Belvedere Village)---saw what looked like a "large dog or werewolf" (had just done the Twilight marathon at local theater with my granddaughter) loping down the street---"it" saw us and went between houses in our neighborhood!!! Can't tell you for sure what "it" was--but am hoping it was a coyote and not the "other!"

If anything, this is an alert for anyone with cats....keep them indoors. In CA we had a number of coyotes that would roam the neighborhood...looking for kitties. Some were foolish enough to let their cats be outdoor cats...and well, coyotes have to eat, too.

I saw two running around the lake on Canal St., across from the postal station... and its not just cats, they like dogs too

Here in CA, I was on jury duty a couple weeks ago where a lady was telling about walking her small dog in a lake front park two blocks from main street and she spotted a mountain lion in the bushes about twenty yards from her - she said she backed up slowly and got into her house up the street. Lets here husband do the dog walking now.

Whenever walking a dog, no matter what size dog, always carry protection with you such as a stick or spray. Not only are wild animals or big birds attracted to your pets, but also other dogs who may not be friendly.

Don't bet with a coyote on golf course. They use the women's tees.

Let's send it over to Havana to catch the cats on the outdoor dining area.
