R I P Jerry Lee Lewis

Jerry Lee Lewis dead at 87

What an amazing life "The Killer" had! I really enjoyed his music and never tired of it.

Many years ago when abroad in military, one of the lads from our company had a really bad case of Tinea and was hospitalized.
We sent a record request to Military Hospital radio station for him.
Jerry Lee Lewis's "Great Balls of Fire!"
Only have to hear that record to still put a big smile on my face.
RIP.

He may not be "completely" dead, but I'm sure he is "mostly" dead. Miracle Max will check him out, just to be sure.

Jerry Lee is definitely dead and apparently Myra isn't putting any effort into mourning him.

He distinctly said “To blave”

JLL was a hell of an entertainer, but a train wreck of a human being by all accounts.

Undeniably talented, but his music was never my favorite. Best Rockabilly performers in my opinion were folks like Johnny Cash, Roy Orbison, Elvis Presley, and Eddie Cochran.

Sounds about right. Way too much temptation for his strength of character. Or lack of it.
