Home Depot Coming to Wildwood
 

Plans have been submitted to build a Home Depot at the southwest corner of CR 466A and Powell Road. It appears that there a two out-parcels along Powell Road where smaller businesses might be located.

so that's why there're clearing out that area. thx much for the info!

When will the first post complaining that it is not golf cart be posted?

Doesn't bother me. We are frequent patrons, so it will save us a lot of miles.

More redundant businesses. Great. Maybe the can add another nail salon, Verizon or sub shop too

Isn’t that about a mile from Lowes? Not sure why they put two similar stores that close together.

Too bad we aren’t getting a Costco or Trader Joe’s.

Competition is a good thing. I’ve seen Lowes and Home Depot located across the street from each other.

No problem, golf carts will just go across Powell Road like they do now at Tradewinds. There is no stopping entitled villagers.

Very often Lowes and HD are either next door to each other or accross the street

And what happened to the 30 or so cattle and calves that waited so patiently for their hay and water to be delivered each morning? Culvers Butterburgers? That poor cattle farmer lost his source of income.

If he owned the land, he probably made a nice profit and can retire.
