siding to match current

I need to find vinyl trim to match current color to make a repair. I found the Villages website showing that my current siding is Dutch Lapsiding Meadowbrook, Sage. Anyone know where I can get a trim piece to match? And, anyone know a reputable handyman or contractor who can do a small repair job?

If the siding is several years old, it has probably faded so get a color that is as close as possible to your color, that take a piece of the faded siding to the paint store and have it color matched to your existing siding. Finally, paint the new siding to match and feather in if necessary. I helped a couple of friends do the replacement in the past. Sorry, I do not know where they purchased the siding.

Lowe's has vinyl siding, however, I'm not sure if it's the type you need.

Be careful about painting vinyl siding because it can have a tendency to buckle as it ages.

Call Warranty and find out which company did the original install. Give them a call and see if they will come by and make the repair. I did this for a home we used to own in Pennecamp and

did the repair.

Be careful not only color match but texture match can be difficult.

We went to T & D Construction off of 301 south of the turnpike. They lent us a big book with vinyl samples. Our home was over 20 years old and the siding had really faded. We found a color that matched the current color of our siding. Another problem we had was the texture that is on the siding. We could not find the same texture. We ended up taking down a small wall of old siding to use to replace the damaged siding. We used the new siding with the different texture on the small wall and it was difficult to see the change of pattern on the siding. If we had just replaced the old siding with the new, it would have been very obvious that the pattern did not match. My husband is very talented and did all the work himself, so I cannot recommend anyone to do your work.
