Sports Pools Schedule

I've had the Sports Pools Schedule bookmarked on my computer for a long time but have not gone to the page in a while. I see the current schedule is not posted any more. Am I looking and just not seeing it? Anyone have a link to the current Sports Pools schedule? Thanking you in advance.

I checked my usual link:

Village Community Development Districts

and only the Guidelines are showing, not the schedules - maybe they are in the process of changing them for the winter?

That's what I see too. Thanks for confirming.

Have just sent an e-mail to Rec Dept so will post here if they reply

This is what I found.

POOL SCHEDULE INFO
The weekly Recreation & Parks Publication lists all Sports Pool schedules. This publication should be used as a guide. Recreation bulletin boards and offices have current schedules available. All Sports Pool activities start at the top of the hour and finish 10 minutes prior to the posted end time. During peak participation, pools will be cleared after each scheduled activity.

I also use the free Villages app on my phone to search for activities, using the "calendar" section. You can search by activity, rec center, date, etc.

Go to the Daily Sun website, click the recreation tab, then under the recreation tab click the recreation and parks publication link. A new window will open up with the full publication, the sports pool schedules are near the back of the publication.

Got it. Thanks.

the sports pool schedules are also included in the weekly rec newsletter available at all of the rec centers.

I take a photo of each pool's schedules (well, only the pools close enough to where I live that I would travel to in order to swim), and store them on the phone in a special "album"...I just can't seem to remember them all in my head.

go to the rec news in the sports pools section, and there you have it all listed. OR go to the pool itself and outside the locker rooms is the schedule for that pool listed on the bulletin board. The schedules may change Oct ( winter schedule) and in April ( summer schedule)

sport pools

When we first moved here, I'd go to our closest sports pool to water-walk during "free" times. THEN one day I went to find they'd put a group in (probably water-volleyball) in place of that. For some reason I thought the times were "set" and wouldn't change but then after that I'd have to check. Apparently some of the times are fluid. (no pun intended)

I check the on-line recreation guide periodically. Also if you go to VCDD e-notification sign up you can get emails advising you of facilities that are closed for maintenance etc.

I printed these out for pools I use in Oct & April - and thought it was ridiculous that I now couldn’t find this or they couldn’t put it online - after it previously had been. I provided my feedback but the only way I’ve been able to get it thus far is actually show up at a rec center for the Villages Rec & Park publication or page through it endlessly online which is tedious and far from easy.

No one ever responded to my online feedback/query regarding this.

Respectfully, DB

Per Rec Dept:

"For the most up-to-date Sports Pool Schedules, please see the Recreation & Parks Publication. To view the Recreation & Parks Publication on the District website, https://online.flippingbook.com/view/10419946/ and use the search engine – sport pools."
