Can you believe we used to watch TV without a remote control in our hand? We were tough in those days. We could even do our own knee replacements.

Suggestion. I record most of the TV I watch. That way you can fast forward the commercials. They are all annoying. An hour show is roughly 45 minutes when you fast forward the commercials. Some shows, ie OAK ISLAND. Been waiting YEARS for them to find ANYTHING. I am hooked. Best way to watch the show, they say everything sooooo many times, is to fast forward the whole show.

If the money spent on political ads had been used to rebuild FL after the two hurricanes, the state would be in better shape. I am sick of Flo, the gecko, and Liberty Mutual. As for Oak Island...........will they ever find something beyond "possibly important"?

We TiVo nearly everything and fast-forward through all that garbage. I highly doubt that those folks get ALL of the $$$$ they claim XYZ-attorney got for them. Read somewhere that commissions are around 40%---not sure if that's true. I'm nearly a "shut-in" so t.v. is one way to spend time. Guess movies are my next option as I'm running out of programming options.
