Foxes are usually solitary. The ones I have seen in the Villages were all alone and at night.

We were walking the Hogeye circle and watched a coyote cross the road and head over to the center of the Hogeye for a fowl dinner. There are plenty of ways for the coyotes to be well fed

I thought Fox too because of body to leg proportions and bushy tails. In any case, a good reminder to keep your little pets near you!

Those are coyotes. No doubt. I’ve had several encounters with them in Montana during my former career and wildlife biology studies at UM.

Coyotes can be helpful, they eat rats and mice.
