American Cancer Society Relay For Life in TV
 

I was catching up on some posts on ToTV and saw a thread and a couple of posts about the Relay for Life in TV not being held in2011. I looked at the American Cancer Society website and it is still being held.

I may have misunderstood the thread and the posts. If I did I apologize in advance. But it is being held.

BK - by reading the other thread I guess they just haven't changed their website yet. It looks like it won't be on TV grounds but still be held somewhere on that date.

The Village high school has denied use of their grounds for the Run! Pretty strange, Why did they do this?

ACS Relay for Life letter to a registered volunteer of theirs...
 

My neighbor received this recently in the mail re ACS Relay For Life change in location from TV to ?. Attempt to enlarge print unsuccessful, sorry 'bout that. Hope that you can read it okay...b

The reason it was canceled in the villages is because Morse demanded that 50% of the procedes be donated to the Cancer center fund.
How nice was that. Let's see, You can't hold a major Cancer fund raiser in the Villages unless you donate half the money to my venture. But I want to build a cancer center for the benefit of the Villages residents.
