I checked that this morning and since there was no e-mail figured it must be a mail holiday today.

Figured we got no mail today since no email so just went to drop off outgoing stuff.

It pays to have a job that pays you not to go to work.

I received paid holidays, what’s wrong with that?

Yeah, but the thing is a large number of mail carriers have been battling severe winter weather for the past week or two, delivering mail/packages to the citizenry for the holiday season. Imagine hanging out the mail truck window in -30 wind chill weather all day long.

Think of all the people being paid to sit on their butts and don’t work at all. I say enjoy the extra break, postal workers, you earned it.
