Rv parking
What are the rules regarding parking a recreational vehicle on the street in front of my home?
Where can I find the official rules? Thanks |

I think these were spelled out in the deed restrictions, however, my understanding is 3 days in your driveway, no idea of on the street, but you cannot block the street for emergency vehicles.

One of my neighbors that has an RV said you are allowed 3 days to load or unload.

VCDD Community Standards The rule is: "Campers, Winnebago’s, and other RVs are allowed on the driveway not to exceed 72 hours (3 days) provided they are not plugged in or inhabited. This allowance is made in an effort to accommodate the packing and unpacking of the RV." |

You can park an RV on your driveway for 72 hours. See Post No. 5 |

0wner Construction trailers in Driveways are also an eyesore…

There have been other Threads regarding parking RV’s in the street. As I remember, you can park in the street as long as the RV doesn’t impede emergency vehicles. Of course, your neighbors are likely not to like it!

Not to hijack this thread but I have a related question. We're here with a class B+ motor home for the month of January. I have a spot reserved at Fort Knox but was wondering if since my RV is my primary vehicle (I have no other vehicle) could I get around the 72 hour rule and keep it in my driveway. It is only 24 feet and does not stick out into the road.
