Discounts?
 

Hi everybody, Does anyone know how often 3% dicounts are offered on building new homes. We are close to making a decesion on when to build our home, but were wondering if this discount comes along often. Thanks to everyone s help in advance

When we got ours, we were told the developer does it when they are nearing the completion of a village and they want to hurry and get that particular village finished so they can move on to the next one and won't have construction vehicles going into an extablished neighborhood any more than necessary.

Agree with Greg; except I believe it is related to a neighborhood rather than a particular village. It seems that when there are only a few lots left in a particular area they want of finish up construction. We got our discount in Pennecamp, which is far from finished, but our area is just about built out.

I guess I should have said neighborhood.

Our rep told us yesterday that our neighborhood is having the closeout special now if we wanted to start building, but we want to sell first. He told us that the lots our selling but only 7 houses are built.

We got a 4.5% discount in April of 2009. We were one of the first homes in our neighborhood. In May it was 4%.

we bought our lot in buttonwood in october and so far have not received that discount letter.... can you tell me what neighborhood/village you are in...thanks...
