The Buena Vista Boulevard extension has opened across State Road 44.

The extension is now open to Meggison Road.

The lights at Buena Vista Boulevard and State Road 44 are operational.

Great. How's Meggison Road doing at the other end at Highway 470 ? Just wondering.

We rode our bikes down Meggison past Newell The road eventually turned into a dirt road, so we stopped. We could see a lot of earth moving being done where I guess Dabney will be built.

I assume the dirt road goes into 470. That would allow them to bring in the large earth-moving equipment without going down Meggison.

Did you drive down it to Meggison? The lights were operating last week so I assumed it was open and proceeded across 44 to take the new section down to Meggison. But it was still blocked off after the first roundabout. Only part open was into the existing residential area there. So myself and others just processed around the roundabout and back to 44.

Yes, it is open from 44 down to Meggison (came back that way late this afternoon)

And...the Developer has already constructed walls in the area where Meggison will meet 470. These will presumably be for the village of Dabney.

The big question is will Meggison provide an exit to 470 for turnpike access or will it dead end there ?? I've sen no word on that.

I don't understand your question.

Meggison will definitely connect with 470. From that point, it will be easy to get on the turnpike.

Here ya go, 470 is the lower border on this map.

It's also visable on Google Maps as under construction of you zoom in.

It’s open. You take a short drive down the road and enjoy a scenic view of the back of a bunch of run down trailers.
