Weather Chanel Problem on Xfinity
 

Is anyone currently having a problem receiving channel 99/The Villages weather channel. The past few weeks channel 99 has begun pixilating and reception gets totally lost then the channel switches to my last watched channel.
I have contacted Xfinity many times and received updates and now all new hardware (cable box) and the same issue occurs. I am wondering if others are having this issue.

Possibly a bad connection, which could be splitter, coax connection or feeder cable to home. You will need a technician visit to meter connections

Tried it this morning and appeared to be OK. I had a similar problem 2 or 3 years ago with other channels, and after 2 visits by comcast, they finally determined the cable from the house to the comcast box in the backyard was bad, cable was replaced, and all has been good. As I recall this failure only affected a few channels which I thought was very strange.
