ARC application - how specific do I have to be on tree types

For example, at what level of descriptiveness is acceptable?

"Fruit tree"
"Citrus tree"
"Lemon tree"
"Meyer lemon tree"
"Dwarf meyer lemon tree"?

I would like to keep things as generic as I can to allow for flexibility if plans change slightly.

I do not know the answer to this, as I do not recall the level of detail when we did ours. I believe a quick call to ARC would answer your question.

Mine included the names of the plants, try going as high up your generic list as possible, if they don’t like, they will deny, asking for more details.

Other option, look at other applications and see what they sent in.

Or as VT suggested, call and ask.

Good suggestions, especially just call. Very nice helpful people.

Seems best to keep it simple in my experience.
