Colony McDonald’s going downhill fast

Third time this week drive in line around the place, over a dozen orders waiting to be filled, inside packed with people waiting, urinal overflowing with no hand soap. Not even peak hours

Management needs to get on the ball fast. Used to be a favorite but no more

If you think that is bad, try the Wendy's at Trailwinds. The are literally out of soda, not that I would get any out of their filthy Freestyle machine.

I get the impression that fast food restaurants want customers to use the drive through window, and not come into the store.

Yes but the people waiting in the pickup spots go inside to see if they are actually going to get food. One day at 4 pm, not busy, it took 14 minutes to get a burger. This place used to run like clockwork

Simply put- It ain't the local manager. They are happy for those that showed up for work that day. Those that do show up have to listen to folks like me complain about no napkins or the drink machines don't work. Others can go down the rabbit hole to tell us why, but for me I know why. Until we see higher unemployment rates, it will not change. But, what do I know.

The new McDonalds at Magnolia has only one inside cash register and a very small waiting area. I think you're correct in their wanting all drive through business. They need more competition as there are a ton of people living here and a heavier ton of workers all looking for quick service.

I go to Culver’s, good food and clean. Only problem is they never charge the same price. It’s different almost every time.

McD garbage 🗑 lack of management and staff of workers will continue to kill what was a good place..

Seems the franchise “owner” should get more involved in the business , managers are his line of defense for against complaints.

retiredguy123 02-09-2023 05:49 AM

In the past, McDonald's had one of the best quality control programs in the business. I understand that they would continuously monitor the number of employees working and sales income per hour at every restaurant. If a franchise did not have sufficient sales to justify the number of employees, the franchise owner would get a call from corporate. Also, if a franchise was not profitable, corporate would buy back the franchise in accordance with the franchise contract. They would never allow a restaurant to close.

If the bathroom is that dirty and out of control, I can only imagine what the kitchen looks like.

Maybe meant lower, not “higher” rates?? Get more back into the work pool so management can hire more responsible workers.

This McDonald’s in Texas is the first with a fully automated drive-through and less employees. The semiautomated McDonald’s is only a test location at this point, the company said, and is part of McDonald’s “Accelerating the Arches” growth strategy.
Chris Tina Bruce Fitness on Instagram: "The first ever automated McDonald’s in Fort Worth, Texas."

We found Arby to be good alternative for a fast pick up meal.
