I was waiting for the first sanctimonious post.

Congrats. You win “coach”

Who says he’s excited? Champion6 often posts about new construction projects in and around The Villages.

He’s one of the few people who actually posts something useful.

Not sure if still on the everyday menu but they have had excellent gyros in the past. Wish we had a good greek restaurant here.

Not a fan but good for those who like it.

The last time I tried Arby’s I threw the entire lunch in the garbage.

LOVE LOVE LOVE Arby's!!!!!! Can't wait.....sooooo excited. Unfortunately that intersection ( Powell/ 466A/462) will be a disaster with all the building that is happening. Especially during high season. It's good that they are building an access road from American House directly to 462, so there will be 2 entrances to get in to American House. And what a great facility it is...independent living at it's finest.

Hmm. Late 70’s, cancer survivor, back issues, leg issues……think I’ll put up with the junk food

Junk Food is available at almost every restaurant in the area. Arby's is no less healthy many of the selections at Olive Garden, Cody's or Ale House. And red meat and cheese are worse than white bread.

That being said I sometimes cheat so I am glad that we are getting an Arby's as it is my second favorite fast food restaurant behind Taco Bell.

That food is for young peoples intestines… our intestines already have diverticulitis episodes… processed food shortens lives

Daxdog 02-19-2023 07:47 AM

Food

The way I see it is most of us have lived this long, we know what is good for us and what is not, if you like fast food go for it , I for one would like to see a Zaxby’s (the one have isn’t convenient) or a In-N-Out nearby. Just because you don’t like doesn’t mean you have to all righteous and try to ruin someone else’s fun.

As we used to say, “Take a pill dude.”

Blackbird45 02-19-2023 08:27 AM

I was on a crew that worked on an Arby's commercial years ago and after what I saw I never would eat at one.
