Talk of The Villages Florida - Maria williams entertains world war ii club

Feb 22 monthly meeting of the WWII Club is at Eisenhower Rec. Ctr. 10 a.m. to noon and is planned to be a nostalgic, musical experience. Margaret Sgritta will give an introductory presentation about the effects of music on the Country and world during the war years followed by Maria entertaining the meeting with songs from that time including hits by Louis Armstrong, Harry James, Billie Holiday, Glenn Miller and many more. The WWII Club welcomes all Villagers at no charge, so come and spend the morning enjoying music that has become standards over the years.
