What are the options for New Year's Eve in The Villages? Any rec centers or other venues having bands or other entertainment? Anyone selling tickets?
Wouldn't it be great to have a huge celebration at the polo grounds with various musical groups? There would be enough room for all.

Last year they had a NYE celebration in the squares that ended at 9:00 pm. They also had a party at Lake Miona (forget the price of the tix). They had a duo performing that was truly awful -- most amateurs could have done a better job.

I love your idea of having a true celebration at the Polo Grounds. That would be fun.

However, given what was offered last year, I'd say your best bet is to have or go to a private party.
