Anybody using Bill's Lawn & Landscaping?

We paid him a year in advance last March and haven't seen him since August.

He did the grass for seven of us in a line, but everyone else (paying monthly) has ditched him because of his "no shows".

Luckily we have virtually no grass so have been keeping it neat ourselves, but I do think we are due a refund.

Is there a Small Claims Court in Florida? In Mass. for a small filing fee you can bring an issue like this to court and get a judgement. You may also be able to file a complaint with Consumer Protection

Do you have a business address for the company? If so try going there. If not and you know the guy's name see if you can find his home address. Send a camera crew from a local TV News Station.

Bill was a nice guy so I don't want to take drastic action at this stage in case his "no showing" is a result of a personal situation - and I can't believe he could get an easier gig than doing me and all of my neighbors in one sweep, with no wasted travel time in-between.

I paid him in advance (as I have done for ten years) as I am generally out of TV for several consecutive months.
