Seeking Advice for Exterior Door Color
 

We have a dark brown lanai and a dark brown exterior door. Want a new color for the door. I can't seem to find many photos showing brown lanais that also show the door, and I don't want to pick a color out of thin air. Anyone know what color would look good with the dark brown lanai?

From what I've read on this forum, there are specific colors approved by The Villages so that would be a place to start. For thinking about colors, I watch "the paint people" on youtube where they are quite informative and detailed. Of course, you'd want videos discussion exterior colors. There is a paint store called "Florida Paints" which is supposed to have all The Villages paint colors. That store would be a great place to browse colors. I'm partial to coastal color choices here in Florida so I would be thinking of a light color.

OP, you did not mention where you live in TV, but as noted above many areas have specific color requirements for external house colors, so as noted above, contact ARC for your area and see what is allowed so you do not have to get the door repainted in the future.

I’d go light since you home is dark - would be a good contrast.
