1. There is a senior property tax discount form DR-501SC for Sumter County. This reduces your assessed value by 15,000 saving Seniors approx. $100 per year on their property taxes. A person may be eligible for this exemption if he or she meets the following requirements: • Owns real estate and makes it his or her permanent residence • Is age 65 or older • Household income does not exceed the income limitation of $35,167 (line 11-AGI on 1040).

2. New Village owner, don't forget to file the homestead exemption, this will reduce your assessed value by $50,000.

3. Another home bought in Fl, don't forget to file the Portability form. I have over $200,000 in portability.

4. I wear hearing aids, and I got a free caption phone from the Federal program for hearing impaired. You do not need a land line. The area contact number is (352)857-5601 Erin

5. I get my medicine for free directly from the Abbvie. They have an assist program. Your income limit is under $100,000.

6. You can also get $30 off your internet bill if your AGI line 11 is less than $39,440 (married), single line 11 is less than 29,160. Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP)
