Incredible Video footage of my nephew Serenading an Alligator

My happy place is when my family takes time to visit with me here in The Villages.

In the course of their most recent visit, we had a particularly sweet encounter and made a short film.

I am impressed with this young handsome man's skills when he's doing what he loves, which is playing musical instruments and creating awesome videos.

Hey! For real! Enjoy Jake's short clip and if it moves you then give him a good word in the comments. I know he would be so happy to hear from you and receive your encouragement. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AjUC...channel=JakeLi

That is an interesting approach to taming the wild beast, so to speak.

I love the creativity! Nicely done!
What is that instrument he is playing? I have never seen or heard something like that.

Thank you!

The Instrument Jake is playing is called a Handpan. The instrument was invented at the beginning of this century and is inspired by and based on the steel drum and other percussion instruments.

Thank you, at first thought it was some kind of "joke", so glad you posted it. I'd be like the gator, I'd go sit by a lake or nature setting and listen to that any time ! In some ways reminds me of the temple bells in Tibet, a kind of relaxing peace !

And if the gator decided it didn't like being serenaded and took a bite out of one of them, they would want it captured and destroyed. Don't tempt fate by sitting close to an alligator. They can move a lot faster than you can.

Did you bother to even look at the video?

The gator was nowhere near anyone... Nowhere near the shoreline...

Thumbs up, cool video. Filming with a drone is a nice added touch.
