Good local source for sunglasses?

Would appreciate near/around TV —- a good store for sunglasses. We got ours at Market of Marion before but they closed last year

Looking for moderate priced ones, not really cheap ones. Good selection, etc etc

Would appreciate feedback. TIA.

Sunglasses are the prototypical Veblen goods.

Most all sunglasses cost less than $10-$15 to make, including Sun Dog, Oakley, Versace, Dolce & Gabbana and most any other brand you can think of. Typical "mark-up" is over 1000%.

Do yourself a favor and shop for sunglasses on Amazon, don't pay more than $50 and return them if you don't like them. One brand you may want to consider on Amazon, is Tifosi. If you go to the Tifosi site, you can see exactly what the sunglasses will look like, on your head & face.

It's been a year since I was last at M of M. There were two sunglasses stands there then...have they both been closed down?

Walmart now carries all brand-name frames. Not that cheap junk they carried at one time.

I was there in February. Multiple sunglass stands were open...

Maybe they meant when the Markets closed after the fire a while back?

glasses

I saw a 60 min bit at the site overseas where almost all are made the same way just slap different logos on them. BTW ran into a guy that wholesaled ice cream in Iowa he told me Blue Bunny makes almost all ice cream in their plants just different recipes and packaging

Optic Nerve Sunglasses | Polarized Sunglasses | Ski Goggles - Optic Nerve Eyewear

They are a Colorado company (where we get much more sun than Florida, just sayin')

They do a lot for the kids in our community. Great company!

They have 1/2 off sales a couple times a year. Keep an eye out and stock up!

Make sure they are UVA and UVB protective
