A new "Documentary" on TV... This time it's positive...

I stumbled across this guy on YouTube. He travels all over, documenting about how different people live.

He spent a day in TV (I think it was a few weeks ago, on Kentucky Derby Saturday), traveling around with a 3 year veteran Villager (lives in DeLuna?) and he was pleasantly surprised at what he found...

It's a bit long, but quite comprehensive...

Yes, the woman giving him the tour made a slight mistake or two with her info, but nothing significant...

I can't imagine how anyone could spend 1 day in TV and write anything close to "comprehensive".

Watched this video last night. Good job, overall. If you know anyone interested in learning about TV this is a good place to start.

He does amazing videos all over the world. I have watched a few of them over the past couple of years.

Maybe if you actually watch the linked video, it would help you "imagine" just that...

Its on YouTube

I tried copy/paste the link, but the Forum would not let me. Anyway just search on Peter Santenello

I'm glad that they saved those old buildings at LSL. The preservation society really does their job.

I only watched half of the video and really enjoyed it, so far. It's refreshing to see someone actually attempting to understand The Villages, instead of basing their theme upon what they have "heard" from folks that don't even live here and may have some sort of agenda. Nice video. Kudos to the guy making this video.

Nicely produced snapshot from the perspective of very sweet new Villager.

Thanks for sharing.

“We need positive TV videos”

Also,

“It's getting to crowded in TV”

I thought it was great. Yes she made a mistake or two but I thought it was a good tour.

I refer to my vehicle as a golf "cart". The only people I've ever heard refer to them as "cars" are the people who sell them.

Thanks! Good video. As you mentioned his tour guide was a little misinformed, but overall very good.

Overall, I give her an A-/B+...

She stated, several times that she doesn't work for TV and that she might be wrong on certain things...

My favorite was when they walked past the Citizen's Bank and she pointed out the "Founded in 18XX" sign... It was cute that she didn't realize that all of those signs are made up... It's the "Disney Influence"...

could care less about the stone throwers. Tv is an economic boom to the surrounding communities and the state of florida. Our actions speak louder than their envious words
