Car Transporter
Has anybody had there car transported from Long Island N Y to the
Villages and was the expreience good or bad and what was the cost Thank You |
Yes. We used PAM auto carriers. They were fantastic. I live in Ronkonkoma and they picked up the car at my house and delivered to my door in Buttonwood. Although laws of transport do not allowany car to have any household good inside, I filled my car with everything but the kitchen sink. If we mailed the stuff via UPS it would have cost us just as much for postage. I recommend PAM to everyone. A friend recommended them to me with the same praise. If you want further info send me a private message with your phone and I will call you back. FYI: It cost $745. Also if you choose to go that route, mention my name and I will get $50. I'll split it with you. Later, Tom

I had a car shipped from NJ (it was originally from Long Island) to Norcal and two years later shipped it to FLA.
$1000 each trip. (the broker gets $200 and the independent driver $800 - find a driver and make a deal) . |
You could do the auto train from Lorton, VA. That works for us. If we drove, my DH would divorce me if I didn't murder him first.
