Snow in the Villages.

I was at the Doggie Doo Run Run about 11:30 this morning and it looked like it was snowing. Or, at least, sleeting.

Picked the wrong morning to wear flip-flops even if I also had socks on. My toes are still quite cold.

I was out at about the same time and I agree, felt like I was in a snow/sleet storm. (I thought it was my new glasses!)

If and when any visible or measurable amount of that disgusting

white stuff hits TV, the house goes on the market as we look to points further South!!!!!!!!!!

btk

Don't buy further south!!! MSN has predicted house prices to fall 20-30% in many parts of Florida in the next two to three years! Miami and Naples area to be hit real hard.

:crap2:

Ya big CHICKENS!!! LOL

KathieI 12-10-2010 01:54 PM

And would you believe that I pick THIS MORNING,, to go horseback riding for the first time in my life??? I froze my butt off. We rode to Lake Weir (believe it or not, is very pretty but cold) and by the time we got back, I was an icicle.. :cold:

This is my third winter here and I have never been so cold. I have decided that next year, I'm becoming a 'reverse' snowbird.... I'm going back to Los Angeles for Oct/Nov/Dec/Jan... this is crazy.

I'll be in LA soon, I'll let you know if the reverse thing works.

Trading Winters

I'll trade you TV winter to one from the Northeast. :1rotfl:

At least until I am in TV. :)

Sparky-30 12-10-2010 03:20 PM

We just moved down in September from N.Va., had 6 ft. of the white stuff last year so we got out of Dodge, Sold my snowblower and shovels to boot!

2BNTV 12-10-2010 04:02 PM

Just noticed there is a light snow falling here in CT. :yuck:

njbchbum 12-10-2010 06:10 PM

had snow flurries in central jersey late this afternoon as i was shopping a waterford crystal warehouse sale! enjoyed the flurries [since there weren't 6" of them to shovel]; and enjoyed buying my family brides-to-be their family heirlooms of the future!

Better add Feb and early Mar to that - last year we waited to come to TV until Feb because it was so cold in TV in Jan the year before; last Feb and early Mar were very frosty in TV!

We're leaving for TV in mid-Jan and my wife has complained for the past three months that it will be too cold in TV until Mar.

Same thoughts here BTK. This is crazy. As my years left on this rock dwindle down I don't have that many more years to enjoy comfortable winters. Property values on the Florida home will be my kid's problem.

Yep, I agree with your wife, Chuck. Definitely adding Feb and if my trip in Jan. turns out to be nice and warm, I may just stay there... (not forever, tho- who would I dance with????)
