Blue Stone Circle
 

I was at the square in Lake Sumter Landing Friday night 6/23 to hear one of my favorite bands Blue Stone Circle. When the band started playing I noticed that their lead singer Evita Santana was not with them. They had a different female singer who was good but not as good as Evita. Does anyone know what happened to Evita? Is she still with the band? I hope so because she makes that band.

I don’t have have an answer to your question, but I totally agree with your assessment of Evita.

They had no female singer at all a couple of weeks ago at Brownwood. Thought something was up.

I agree - Evita IS “Blue Stone Circle” - I hope she hasn’t pulled a Diana Ross, and decided to have gone solo.

Their website and FB page are being neglected and stale.

I agree. I hope she hasn't left the band. I am amazed at her energy. Love to watch her and listen to her.

Had seen her and the band a few times when family were visiting and we would go to the Squares in the evening.

I would like to see more of her though. Hope she is still with the band.

Nothing against Evita, she is very talented, but I liked listening to the band way more before she joined them. They played more old time rock n roll before and changed up their playlist when she joined the band. Just my music preference I guess.

They're my favorite TV band as well. I hope she's okay, but I'd still appreciate the band without her. They are all such talented musicians/singers. I can dance hours on end while listening to them!

Acoustic Blue
 

Two of their members performs quite a bit at Sawgrass as Acoustic Blue. The gentleman with the mustache and the tall gentleman play a really nice acoustic set without the rest of the band. When my wife and I saw them at Brownwood as Blue Stone Circle we were surprised. They were really good though.

We were there as well… one of my favorite bands here. And I was wondering about the same thing. Where was she? Noticed right away. Although that band is so awesome, she was OK. I will continue to be a groupie!

We saw them about a month or two ago and they started their set without her. She appeared to arrive late and just got right into it. Although meaningless perhaps, it just seemed odd that she was not there for setup. There might be some behind the scenes tensions within the band. Now that they have another singer they might have decided to make a change. Total speculation on my part. She is a great entertainer.

If she is out, I hope Evita comes back to The Villages as a solo act - I’d pay to see her.
