Construction North of Polo Fields?
 

I have noticed extensive staking on the vacant land north of the Polo Fields along Buena Vista. Does anyone know what is going on? It looks like some construction is being planned.

I'm shocked!

Could be marking turtle holes.

If stakes were random and scattered, they are marking nests or burrows for wildlife such as burrowing owl, land tortoise, or such creatures to protect them from the mowers.

If you are speaking of the field with the pink flagged stakes, they have been there for years. Usually it’s for an underground home of an endangered something, most of the time there is a very small sign denoting what’s living there
