List of over 70 English television stations I get with antenna, north part of TV.
List of english television channels I reliably get with an outside antenna. Additionally I get several test patterns which may be future channels but i'm not listening here. I'm located in Marion County in TV near the Sumter County border.

Hi Mike, which antenna did you buy/install
|
Impressive. We cut the (satellite) cord a couple of years before we moved here. Bought an $80 antenna from Fleet Farm, installed it and could pull in something like 40 stations (more, depending on weather and time of day). Most as clear or clearer than with DirecTV.
|
Thanks, we get the same but I have never taken the time to put together a channel listing. I will print this out and keep it handy.

Are you pointed at Ocala or the Orlando/Christmas transmitters ? |

I was able to point it with my neighbor's house on the left & some trees on the neighbor's right so it has a long open area towards Orlando. From reviews I've seen, I could be wrong, it has a wide UHF direction because it is basically 8 uhf cat whiskers. The reflector is not really a uhf reflector but is tuned to hi-vhf and the cat watcher picks up the hi-vhf because it is stronger from the reflector. Again, I could be wrong. |
Thank you, Mike,
Nice to see the old days roof antenna options are still kicking.. But I couldn't live on those channels only... |

My wife and I have a home in the Northern end on the Marion County side. I am looking at tiring an Antenna with amp in the Attic. Has anyone had any luck with that?
