Fun, Free and easy donations for animals and others
I found the two linked websites where you can donate kibble to abandoned dogs and cats for FREE just by answering an easy trivia question (donation made if answer is right or wrong) and CLICKING.
http://www.freekibble.com/ Another site allows you to donate kibble to abandoned animals and other things to different charities like breast cancer and literacy http://www.theanimalrescuesite.com/c...faces?siteId=3 I go there daily --it kinda makes me feel good  |
Neat site about pet trivia.
Thanks. I will bet that there are a lot of furkids here in the Villages. This is one of the trivia answers from a few days ago.
I saw a golf cart yesterday that had "princess" written on the passenger side and seriously doubt that I man would have enough bravery to describe his wife in this manner and then put it on their golf cart. "Princess" is probably a furkid. |
Thanks for the sites. The firest one is new to me. I will add it to my daily routine. The second site I go to every day and click on all six tabs.

I also go to the Animal Rescue Site several times a day. It is an icon on my desktop. Now I'll add Free Kibble as part of my morning wake-up routine. :mornincoffee: |

I love the Animal Rescue Site. I have it sent to my inbox every day & click on it. I just ordered my new 2011 calendar from them.

I bookmarked both sites - great idea. A few days ago, four of us from our women's club shopped at Walmart and delivered $500 worth of cat and dog food and supplies to the Marion County Humane Society a no-kill shelter. This is the third time we have done this after doing a fundraiser called Bowling for Furry Friends. What a wonderful feeling. I have also been caring for an orange male kitty, about a year old, that has been around since he was a kitten. I finally gained his trust and he is very loving to me and my dog. He has slept on my lanai during these frigid nights. I have tried to find him a home as I am unable to keep him, but with no luck. The rescue agencies will not take him as they feel he is not readily adoptable since he has been outside and it took me so long to tame him. I guess most people want an instant pet. Understandable. So next week I am taking him to be neutered and have shots and then he will go to a farm where he will have food, water, and shelter and other kitties for companions. It is the best I can do.
