Any date announced for Hobby Lobby opening ?
 

Don't read the Sun any more, so probably the last to know, but looks like Hobby Lobby finally ready to open.... has any date been published or just still the "opening soon" ?

I waiting also, been putting off driving up to Ocala.

The line will form at 11:59 on 8/27.. with chairs and tents and snacks. In hope they will be giving away a free plastic bag, that you can use at Sprouts :girlneener:

Are they planning a big sale on their opening day?

Doesn’t matter if there is a sale… give away a 5cent plastic bag, TV residents will be waiting in line.

As a whole we had 5 HL’s open near us. That was when they offered coupons for extra % off. That practice stopped before the pandemic.
The last Hobby Lobby opened up north, no freebies, coupons, Or different specials that wasn’t offered at all stores.

They did give away a plastic bag to help you shop, without a cart, if you so choose. I would guess around 8/21 their flyer may have more info on new opening values. HL prices are high unless it’s on sale, so its my last resort if I can’t find it online.

LOL, same here ! Needed some of my hobby supplies, keep seeing the parking lot packed with cars (staff training ? still stocking ?) everyday !

According to Google Maps, it opens August 25.

Is HL having a soft opening? I passed the parking lot today and it seemed very busy.

Staff for new store,(so every person hired for every shift, and 6 days, night stock people, and staff from other store to help with opening..
Couple of new employees were in Fresh Market getting lunch, talking about how many people it takes to get a HL open. Once open after a few weeks you will see staff reduce to normal.
