Piano Bench In Need of Repair
I recently moved my player piano from Ohio to my home in The Villages. The piano made the trip just fine, but the bench didn't have such a good trip! The piano was restored by a treasured friend when I was 8 years old, and the bench matches the piano. One of the legs is now cracked and the bench is very wobbly. It's not all the fault of the movers -- the hip movement of using the peddles pushes the bench side to side -- it's sort of like the motion of riding a bicycle. Anyway, I'm looking for someone to repair the leg and tighten the whole bench. Any advice as to where to look for someone to restore it? Advice appreciated!

Bring it to one of the woodshops. They can repair it and you make a donation to them for the repair.

I do not think the villages woodshops do repairs, I have done some similar repairs, so if none of the wood workers reply, let me know and I will be glad to take a look to see what I can do.

Call Rael Furniture Repair. They did a great job fixing a drawer on my 50 year old desk.
