Spectrum ringing door bells
 

Spectrum has been ringing door bells and tell home owners they will be working on the pedestals in their yard,. And then the sales pitch about selling you their service they are just using this as away of getting around the soliciting laws in our community.

Stop them immediately by stating No Soliciting.

If you put a small no soliciting sign next to your doorbell 95% of sales people will not bother you. I put one on 6 years ago and it worked great, you can get them at Ace Hardware for a couple dollars. In the beginning the Jehovah's Witness group rang our bell and said they were not soliciting and I said they were soliciting my attention, they left and never came back. I think they have a stay away list now as there are new groups all the time and they just skip our home.

If Spectrum rep knocks on your door consider yourself lucky, that is the only way to get internet for 19.99 for 300 mbps. No other provider in the villages has internet for these rates. In sales school I was taught the ones that post those signs do so because they have difficulty saying no to a sales pitch
