Wagner Chief Dies in “Accident”
 

What a coincidence that the guy who lead a coupe last month against Putin died in an accidental plane crash.

Myself, I’m not quite convinced.

Sounds like it was struck by a missile from the ground.

Lots of speculation on this report. Will have to wait and see what else is discovered.

He'll turn up in Peru in a couple of years.

Surprised it took this long.

I would not put it past our government to do the same thing...

not so sure he died. Could have faked his death to get out from under Putin......the only way to escape his grasp. Maybe, he or his Wagner group is planning an assassination. We shall see!!

Sounds like human nature. With very few exceptions in recorded history, it has been this way everywhere. Just because some governments are more adept at covering it up doesn’t mean that it doesn’t exist.

As Joe Stalin once observed: “Death removes all problems. No man—no problem”. And good old Uncle Joe was far from the only one who believed that.

This is the sort of thing Putin has people do for him. He likes revenge. The latest I’ve read is that a bomb was probably smuggled on board in a case of wine after it was clear that Prigozhin was on the little plane. Stalin had Trotsky assassinated in Mexico in 1940. It’s thought that Chairman Mao gave the orders that had the much-loved Lin Biao, Vice Premier and Marshal of China, killed in a convenient plane crash. And then you might recall Bin Laden. The U.S. has also been involved in several assassinations of political leaders in past decades, though it was to get rid of leaders who didn’t want to support U.S. policy, not for revenge.
