Newbie Golfers
 

I'm a newbie looking for a golf partner. Anyone else having trouble finding someone to play golf with?
In my neighborhood it seems that the groups and cliques have formed and are pretty exclusive. No problem there. I understand that's how people are, but if anyone is interested in hooking up for a round or two, that would be great. I live in the southern end of TV (St. Charles) but that really doesn't matter to me. I'm a 62 year old male who is pretty much a hacker but I love getting out and swinging a club. My wife doesn't play so I'm on my own.

Go to a course as a single, they send you out with three others. Usually at the end of the round you are all buddies and hooked up for the next time.

I am a newcomer to the Villages like yourself. I could play golf every day but am in the same boat as you. If you would like to play between Christmas and New Years I would love to join you.
