Gutter Cleaning
 

We are not here full time and need to have our gutters cleaned. The wife won't let me get on a ladder anymore so DIY is out. Any suggestions?

There are gutter cleaning tools that attach to a garden hose. No ladder needed.

You can also get a gutter cleaning adapter for a leaf blower, this is what I did back up north. If you go this route, give the leaves some time to dry out. Wear a hat and safety glasses, and you will get dirty as the leaves and other debris is blown out of the gutters. This solution worked very well for me, and I actually made my own adapter using gutter down spout and a couple of corner pieces.

Another recommendation for this company. It is a father and son who do the work. Very honorable. The first time I called him, he went on the roof, inspected the gutters and told me I could wait at least another year to have the gutters cleaned. He said there wasn't really anything to clean other than a very small amount of roof granules. He did not charge me for that visit.

The following year he came back and cleaned the gutters.
