Debating
 

Just realized I don't have to work until Jan 6 debating whether to hop on a plane on Sunday or Monday to spend a few weeks down there doing nothing except fishing and riding my bike or both. Now I just have to decide if I want to be down there for Christmas time by myself...tough decision may need to sleep on it. How is the weather forecast looking?

Rain tomorrow; warming up. Possibly another cold spell coming but not as bad as this week's -- sides, compared to RI, it would only be moderately cold at its worst.

So, how important is Christmas to you? If it's a big thing to you and you'd be sad spending it alone, come down the 26th -- you'd still have time here. If Christmas is just a day you get off, come on down. (I'd invite you join me, but I'm going to a friend's.)

One other thing I'll be taking the shuttle in so I'll need a taxi to get to the house around 6 PM does anyone know if I could call them early on Monday and asked to be picked up at the shuttle dropoff at 6 PM or do I need to call when I arrive. Is there a taxi service actually? The reason I ask is I don't think I have seen a taxi yet. Any info is much appreciated.

Cool on relatives for New Year's! Here's the number for The Villages Taxi: 352/753-1415. I imagine the best method would be to call them to meet you at 6:00. Just give them a call and I'm sure they'll tell you the best way.

Thanks for the number I greatly appreciate it. All packed and will be in FL tomorrow afternoon. If your around Sumter Landing and see a big guy with 90lbs of luggage looking lost tomorrow it's just me. With little to no food in the house I'll probably head out to Gator's dockside to watch some sports and grab some grub.

Enjoy your stay. I can't get out of Rhody until Jan 11. I am sure the weather and time will be better in The Villages.
