Bad Service from Hayes Electric!

We hired Hayes Electric to change a wire under a window and reroute over top of window because we were replacing with a door, also was going to wire a light switch to a outside light for a new patio
. I was quoted $590 to reroute wire and hook up a new light switch to an outside light in which I purchased. They did not have to reroute a wire because there were no wires there under window, they only put a wire to outside light to switch to outlet inside house, they were here a total of 50 minutes. When I asked for some money back from the $ 590.00 as they did not have to do the work that was quoted in the original price I was told NO. So I will never hire Hayes Electric again and I who not recommend them for Electrical work.

Don’t pay before work is completed. If they cannot accept that…..find another company!

Usually you find a wire needs to be moved during demolition, then you call an electrician or was it your contractor advising.

We have always used Pikes Electric. Appointment made giving them roughly what work needs to be done. Quote given, no money until work was completed. Then only charged for parts and time to repair.

OP I would call the company again explaining work that was quoted was wrong, ask for refund, if they choose not to let them know you will be contacting crimes against seniors.
