Has anyone tried this as a weight loss. Where did you go and what was the approx. cost.

Through a local Dr. Cash price at Walmart for this drug is 1,100 monthly. It is effective.

Through a telemed US based Dr. It's 297 a month Henrymeds.com.

I tried if for several months and I found it to be very helpful. Its not a miracle drug but it totally quiets the noise you hear telling you to eat. You never feel ravenously hungry and, for me at least it totally stopped evening eating. With exercise I could easy see how someone could lose 2 lbs a week if not a little more. It's a game changer.

Are they legitimate?

Yes, they are legitimate. No insurance is honored at Henrymeds. It's a cash (visa) business.

Good to know. I don't believe Medicare covers any of these new drugs. I read an article that said to do so would bankrupt Medicare.

Is it more effective than phentermine?

Whatever happened to exercise and a good diet? Perhaps I’m missing something, but taking medication to control weight doesn’t sound optimal to me?

Dr always told me that the best exercise for weight loss was pushing myself away from the table!

It's true exercise is not the fastest for weight loss. But when I went keto I lost the weight and then gained so much energy I was exercising for fun (hiking mostly).

Of course, with all diets, it's easy to fall off the wagon. Carbs are so addicting, a few cheat meals on vacation or sugary cocktails and I'm right back to eating carbs. So I need to get back on track. But I'll never take medication for weight loss. Too many side affects.

This was originally developed as a drug for people with type 2 diabetes then later discovered it was also useful for weight loss. A couple years ago when people started using it for weight loss it became very difficult for diabetics to get, I know I had to do without a couple times while the manufacturer was trying to catch up. Our real estate lady was doing it for weight loss at a local clinic here and had amazing results.

People are now using ozempic which has its own set of side effects.

Laziness and lack of discipline.

OMG… don’t this stuff. If you want to loose weight just stop eating carbohydrates and sugar (that includes most all fruits). You will loose a lot of weight and you will be HEALTHY!
