Message Posting Times
 

How do you get the correct time to post on messages? If I set the Time Zone Option to Central Time, the time that is posted is an hour earlier than Eastern Time (as it should be). But, if I change the option to Eastern Time, the time that is posted is an hour later than Eastern Time. I guess it's not a big deal, but I'm just trying to figure out what I am doing wrong.

Do you have your Date & Time settings at GMT -5:00 and have you also selected "Automatically Detect DST Settings"? Hope this helps, but if you aready do have these set properly, well then you got me stumped!

Yes, I had both options set exactly like you said they should be. I decided to try something different. I set one of the options to "DST corrections always off". It worked! Go figure. Maybe it was caused by some weird conflicting configuration setting on my MAC computer.

Glad to hear you got it working Chopper. Now to see what happens when we go back to DST!
