Finally took The Villages Grown tour today (booked through Villages Entertainment) - Fascinating, and highly recommended.

During the tour, our guide said they are working on establishing a “farm-to-table” type restaurant right on location there in the greenhouses - would be a welcomed addition to The Villages dining scene.

Is this a tour of new houses?

It's a tour of the greenhouses on 44...

$25.00 charge and thought it was well worth the cost. Learned a lot.

Fantastic example of hydroponics and vertical farming.

Was really amazing to see the huge amount of vegetables that are produced in the footprint. Very impressive operation

Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons with start times 3:45 or 4:00pm 15 minutes apart and another set an hour later. Running 4 tours per night right now with a third set of tours during the longer spring time hours.
Pretty informative and absolutely fascinating, oh, and did I mention I work there so I might be a little biased but love what we do at TVG.
