New to Tamarind Grove
 

We just bought in the TV and look forward to the final move. The neighborhood is full of sold lots but few homes.
Does anyone know when the neighborhood rec center will be done?

Hi "neighbor." One of those Sold signs is ours.

We put a deposit on Lot 37 in the Cottage neighborhood. The lot is at the east end of Ansley Path, on the south side of the street where it opens into the cul-de-sac. We will begin building in August 2011 and move in when I retire in April 2012.

Since we're still up north, we're not sure about the Tamarind Grove neighborhood recreation center (a.k.a. neighborhood pool) - the one situated between Ansley Path and Tamarind Grove Run. From pictures that friends have sent us, it appears to be essentially complete. Frankly, I would be surprised if it isn't open now.

Where will your house be located?

We will be on lot 155, ansley path. About a 6 iron to the pool. When we were there in Nov., the pool was just about to open. The only thing missing were the deck chairs.

Tamarind Grove
 

We purchased lot 91 on Odessa circle. We back up to the Villa wall. It looked like a great location surrounded by golf course on three sides. I built and still have the Northern location. I still need to retire and join the good life.The Rec center, I was asking about is on St Charles The Tamarind grove Neighborhood pool is done and open as of DEC 3rd.

Construction on the newest Rec Center, Sterling Heights, located on St. Charles near The Village of St. James started a couple of weeks ago.

Tamarind Grove-Odessa Circle
 

We purchased Lot 71 on Odessa Circle in November. We plan to build a Jasmine on the site. Our beach condo is on the market and we'll move as soon as it is sold.

We are in south Florida (Deerfield Beach) and look forward to moving north (don't hear that often!)

New to the Villages
 

We bought a site on Odessa Circle #69 I believe...when we were there in
October the pool at the top of Tamarind Grove road was done and looked lovely. We are building a Lantana on our site and we will be down in November...Hope we sell our house on Long Island in time. Happy Holidays!

Hello to the folks in Tamarind Grove. We purchased lot #63 on Odessa Circle and plan to build in the summer of 2011. We need to sell our current home in Ohio (Brr Brr) and get south to the Villages. Hope to meet some of you when we come down this spring or summer. Good luck to all of you.

Hello soon to be neighbors. We begun building on lot 75 Odessa Circle Feb 4th and house is moving along quickly. Closing date is April 15th and better half will be decorating on the 16th. We look forward setting our roots, meeting our new neighbors and enjoying all TV has to offer.
