Have You Noticed??

Have you noticed that dog owners look like their dogs. In some way, hair, facial expression, nose, ears, eyes and others are very similar. I don't know if this is due to the laws of self attraction but it is not just a random event. It make one wonder what dog a non dog owner would prefer. That is an interesting game!
Have any of you noticed this??????

This is something that has been talked about, seemingly forever. Certainly not in every case, but often it does seem that dogs and their owners do share certain traits.

This has been a repeated theme in cartoons & animated movies.

For many men the dog would need to be bald or balding.

Our home-town shelter posted pictures of pets and owners after their successful adoption campaign over Christmas. I was astounded at the lookalikes! I even commented on it.

I fart a lot, but our dog, very seldom.
For extra meat, he has agreed to take the blame for the stench!

You are right. I think there is a genetic reason people feel drawn to dogs that look like them. It’s almost as if they are recognizing their young. The same goes for those who choose pot-bellied pigs for pets, or boa constrictors.

Very true.
I always wanted a Sloth for a pet.

In our case our personalities were similar, not looks. We had terriers - much cuter than us in appearance - but stubborn, independent and bossy. Lol.

LOL, I have a very scary looking dog, people with cute little fluffies pick them up when they see him. He's very sweet, much sweeter than this old gal.

Since so many dog owners call them their kid, it makes sense they should share some obvious features. Wild hair, noses, long legs or short legs, fat or thin, goofy look, etc. I have noticed this for years .
