VA Disability Lawyer

I am looking to use a VA Disability Lawyer to help me appeal my request for increase of benefits I already receive. If anyone has used and was successful with an accredited VA lawyer, I would be very interested in chatting.
Thank you

I do not have any experience in this area, but I seem to recall a lawyer on 441 in the strip mall by Citizens Blvd, I think the sign indicated disability, but I am not sure. A google maps indicates:
Culbertson, Jacobs, & LaBoda, PLLC Social security attorney, they may also do VA work.

Have you tried the Sumpter County Veterans Services Office? It's locate in the library: County Service Center 7375 Powell Road Wildwood, FL 34785 Phone 803-436-2302 They did a great job of helping me.

Thanks, I'm trying to get first hand experience if possible.
Appreciate it. You are always helpful.

Thanks

I am currently in process of an appeal for an increase in disability rating.. Required Nexus letters from attending physicians which you don't need a law firm to get.
A close friend had been going through attorneys for two years without any results. He is now working with VSO but needed a release from an attorney so they could not claim a percentage of disability award.
There is a publication available at the VSO at county office through to VFW with law firms locally and nationaly that may help.

Thanks for response. I have had 2 VA exams with specialists outside the VA, for the issue with eyes in last 6 months. They then took months to determine not to raise. So my case is actually well documented with them. So that is why I'm appealing with a lawyer.

I'm NOT a lawyer but was a VA disability rater for almost 10 years and a former VSO who continues to stay on top of VA compensation law changes. I still assist veterans weekly in their claims for FREE. If interested, please PM me and we can proceed from there...and thank you for your selfless service!

DO NOT HIRE A LAWYER... Get in contact with the VFW, if you served during a conflict. OR contact the VA Hospital and ask where to contact a VA Service Representative. OR contact the American Legion Post or DAV , if you are disabled Veteran (any rating makes you a DAV). ALL of these representatives work
for FREE, that is their job. DO NOT HIRE A LAWYER. I was a VFW Service Officer for almost three years and filed 100's of claims...not one Veteran paid for our work.

I always used Service Officers from various Service organizations. Never had to use a lawyer. Went from 30% to 100%.

I'm technically in Lake county. I will call them and they may direct me to Lake county.
Thanks Mike
