Has anyone had any construction done by Corban Construction? If so, were you happy with the result and timing of the project. I have a scheduled appt to meet with Paul. The office told me that I would have to pay a deposit. I did not ask how much because in 2 previous projects I had to do that and got burned both times so not thinking I want to go down that road again. One taking the money and running. Thank you.

Do not pay a deposit or any money in advance to a contractor.

Note that there is another TOTV thread with a negative experience with this contractor. Also, I have noticed that many contractors post numerous 5-star reviews their website. I consider this to be deceptive because the reviews are all 5 stars and they appear to be fake reviews. Check out their website and judge for yourself.

Thank you. After getting burned previously, I’m certainly not comfortable to put out money beforehand again.

Additional options: Melton Construction, Demetri Construction, Shamrock Construction. Anyone have any positive or negative comments on any of these contractors.
