Xfinity NOW

Just wondering if anyone has had experience with "Xfinity NOW" tv for $20 a month which includes Peacock. Sounds like a great deal.

Did they tell you they were also going to charge $66 for “installation”? And all kinds of taxes? It was very difficult to get them to take off the charges I did not authorize. Make sure you know your final bill total each month first.

thanks for the info. Are you happy with the service?

I got rid of it as soon as I could, but I have YouTube TV already.

Be prepared for regular and large increases with xfinity. Have had them for four years but cost is now outrageous and shortly they will be gone

I don't know how Xfinity stays in business by raising prices like they do.
It's almost coming to be a joke.
Don't people care?

Have xfinity internet and youtube tv installed here. xfinity is 75 mbps at $30 per month less discounts for automatic payment.

Xfinity is more expensive than Youtube TV because it is far superior in many ways. The remote is amazing and you get much better response when FF or RW shows. The voice command is awesome too.

The best thing about YoutubeTV is being able to stream on other devices with a great app. It has other advantages too such as an unlimited library. It is a matter of personal preference which is better and whether the difference in costs are a factor.

You don’t get much with now tv. I had YouTube tv and it wasn’t that good either for the money you pay.
Somebody mentioned they pay $30 for 75Mb which is not a good deal for such a slow speed. You can get 300Mb or more for a few $$$ more per month.

I pay $30 a month (permanently) for Quantum fiber and 200bmps plus. I doubt I would go back to Xfinity if they offered it FREE. I stream using a Roku stick and pay for Youtube TV and save a couple hundred bucks over what I was paying.

I thought the same, 75Mb is a hair faster then dial-up.

I was just quoted to keep just my internet @ 300Mb, it would cost me $96.00 per month.

Comcast/Xfinity is a Horrible company with Terrible customer service if you can even call it that.

I’ve had Xfinity since 2018 and very pleased & yes we get Peacock. Started at $20 p/month and after 3 years went to $30 but still a good deal as it’s the only service I pay for on my television. We had the aerial put in our loft space, good reception.

Dial up is typically 56 kilobits per second. So, 75 megabits per second is actually 3 orders of magnitude faster. Unless you are moving large files around, say 10s to 100s of gigabytes, then 75 megabits per second is usually more than enough. Streaming 1080p only consumes about 5 megabits per second. I believe most people pay for much more bandwidth than they require.
