Chatter is beginning to make waves at the shipyard with recent whispers that Carnival may be looking to secure a contract for a massive new build ship in the coming months. The new vessel would likely be delivered in 2027 or early 2028 and would be the largest cruise ship ever built in Italy.

One of the reasons I would want to cruise is for the ship at sea experience. You know, feeling the ship moving over the bounding main. The smell of salty sea air. The smaller and more "traditional" the experience, the better I like it. Yes, I'm an old seadog with saltwater in my veins.

Size does matter. I love to go to Tampa to catch a ship. Nothing bigger than 2600 passengers can get under the skyway.

"Carnival" works too. As an adjective and a noun.
