Love and Loyalty
 

This is a short video about one very loyal dog. It goes to show how much we mean to our pet dogs. We all have a life outside of our home...friends, jobs, activities, etc. Our dogs only have us. Spend some time with your dog; go for a walk every day & express love to your pet.

When I read this post I immediately remembered a book that I read a few years ago. It was called "The Art of Racing in the Rain." I have never read a book that brought as much emotion out of me as this book did.

When I finished it, it was one of the very few books that I kept so one day I could re-read it when the memory of the first reading faded. Rather than my tell you about it in my own words, I will simply refer you to a website where you can read all about it and also watch a promo video. I strongly recommend this book if you can get your hands on a copy. :doggie:

Read "The Art of Dancing in the Rain." Loved it. Granddaughter told me about it and she just told me of another book "A Dog's Purpose" which she says I must read.

Loved that story....I've always said that "I don't deserve the love and loyalty that my little dog gives me" I'm sure this is the norm rather than the exception but my little sweet dog greets me with MOST of her toys when I return from errands and of course, many many kisses....

Thanks K-9. Touching story and a tribute to the dogs loyalty. Many animal people have their own stories about their own pets but can't put it in writing or on film. I have my own dog stories about Maggie, my late yellow lab. Being an author, I intend to put my experiences on paper someday.
