Smoke Smell in The Villages is strong today!
 

Cane Garden area.

I went outside about 9:00 AM and the smoke smell is very strong. I was going to go out for a drive to see what I could find and had the radio on Wvlg and they said the smoke smell is from the fires over on the East coast at Palm Bay near Melbourne. They said that it would be more smell than smoke limiting vision.

Pretty much happens every year 'bout this time!

I am happy you posted this. I was running around my home looking for problems. :boom:

I also was running around thinking it was in the house. Then heard the radio!

Same reason everyone eats so much at the end of year parties and rinks so much tonight?
Though isn't the tradition to pop the bubbly at the strike of midnight twentyleven??
